Individual Therapy

What can you expect in individual counseling?

We will develop a collaborative, trusting relationship so that you can share easily with no fear of judgment.  Getting some history on you, your past, family and relationships will take a session or two.  We will then identify your top priorities and develop a plan together, modifying and assess as we go, till you have reached your goals!

I will offer my skills, knowledge, insights and wide array of interventions from which you will choose to utilize and/ or incorporate….or not.  You are in the driver seat and I welcome your feedback throughout so that therapy is tailored to your preferences, not mine.

I am a Solution-Oriented/Psychodynamic/Trauma Informed Therapist that will complement this general approach with interventions –depending on your needs and preferences – from EMDR, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (especially DBT), DNMS, Sand Tray and Art, Somatic (AIT), Meditation and Mindfulness.
